HowTo: Disable User Account Control
A pretty annoying “feature” of Windows Vista that is not always needed is the user account control. You can disable it if you follow those steps:
1. Run msconfig, Windows-key + R and then enter msconfig in the opening window
2. Go to the tab “Tools” and then select “Disable user account control”
3. Press “Start” to disable the account control. Restart. You are done!
