“Microsoft Surface” is one of the latest breakthrough technologies. It’s taking touch-screens to the next level. You can place any digital device on your “Microsoft Surface Table” and it will automatically recognize it and will make data, such as photos and videos, viewable. You can then drag it everywhere, resize it, transfer it to another device or do whatever you feel like. Of course, it’s not transferring instantly (yet), but we’re getting closer, thanks to Microsoft.

Of course there are endless possibilities and developers know that. This is a “Microsoft Surface” Chess Table.

Personally, I’d prefer to play on a real chess board, but people want to make things easier and more comfortable

At the moment “Microsoft Surface” tables can only be purchased for commercial reasons. Hopefully, we can expect a release for end-users in 2010.
