Tomorrow is the “World No Tobacco Day” 2009.
The World Health Organization is hosting this event. They even have flyer, brochures and posters on their website: http://www.who.int/tobacco/
According to MedIndia.net there are currently more than 1.1 billion smokers in the world and the number could increase to 1.6 billion by 2025.
It might be a bit late for printing posters, but if you want to support this global event, then put one of the following wallpapers on the desktop of a smoker.
He/She will be surprised and think about quitting (again). Personally, I think you can’t convince people to quit, they have to make that decision themselves. It still might be a good idea to do that to kick-start a discussion.

“Microsoft Surface” is one of the latest breakthrough technologies. It’s taking touch-screens to the next level. You can place any digital device on your “Microsoft Surface Table” and it will automatically recognize it and will make data, such as photos and videos, viewable. You can then drag it everywhere, resize it, transfer it to another device or do whatever you feel like. Of course, it’s not transferring instantly (yet), but we’re getting closer, thanks to Microsoft.
