Easily take ownership of files/folders in Vista RSS

Taking ownership of certain files is a real pain and requires many clicks. To make this process a lot easier there are two cool methods:

1. Add the function to take ownership to your context menu (the menu that appears if you right-click a file). To do that simply download this file and double-click it. Confirm the following message and the entry “Take Ownership” should from now on appear in your context menu.
However this did not work in all cases, so if it does not work for you simply follow the second way…

2. Use a handy tool to add the files you want to take ownership of. The tool is pretty self-explanatory, you just have to click on add, browse to the file and select it. Once it’s listed in the little box click on “take control”.
