Windows 7 will support touch-screen panning, which means that you can move objects on a desktop with your own fingers on a touchscreen-enabled device. Touchscreens have been around for probably 30 years or longer, but it is still very impressive to see it.
It has been reported that Windows 7 will support this technology system-wide, which probably means that all internal applications e.g. the Windows Explorer will support it. We are one step close to the future. Mouses will never disappear, but this way of navigating and moving objects has a lot of great advantages and brings a lot of flexibility.
